Overview
LiftLogic is designed with your privacy in mind. The app does not require any account creation, and we do not collect, sell, or share any personal information with third parties. Most data you enter stays on your device, and nothing is transmitted to any server operated by us — saved setups sync through your own iCloud account (see below).
Data We Store
The app stores the following data locally on your device using UserDefaults:
- Your selected unit system (lbs or kg) and default bar type
- Plate inventory settings and quantity limits
- Saved setups (bar type, weight, collar, unit)
- Recent weights history
- Bodyweight (if entered for ratio display)
- Pro purchase status
Saved setups also sync via iCloud's key-value storage, tied to your own Apple ID — this uses Apple's iCloud infrastructure, not any server we operate, and we have no access to it. We have no servers of our own and receive no data from the app.
Camera Access
LiftLogic uses your camera only to scan a partner's QR code and load their barbell setup (Lifting Partner Mode). No photos or video are captured or stored — the camera feed is decoded in real time and discarded.
Analytics & Tracking
LiftLogic does not use any analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or tracking technologies. We do not track you across other apps or websites. We collect no usage data whatsoever.
In-App Purchases
The Pro upgrade is processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit. We do not receive, store, or transmit any payment information. Purchase and restore transactions are handled by Apple and subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
Children's Privacy
LiftLogic does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. The app contains no user accounts, no sign-up process, and no data collection of any kind.
